The thing keeps running even when it hits the temperature, and turns on wayy too often. if I set it at 68 degrees, the room temp shows at 72 degrees BUT ITS STILL RUNNING! why? why? I'm confused. It KEEPS on turning on every few minutes.. why can't it be more simple. If we set it to 68, it should turn off when it hits 68.. stop overcomplicating things. and the fan inside sounds kind of loose like it's not stiff/confidently staying on. I hope there's like a "firmware" update for this? Lol.. or they should make this right..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this heater for quite some time now in my kitchen. This small heater takes up minimal space and work surprisingly well. This is the perfect space heater for small spaces or even working in conjunction with other heat sources.
You can adjust the setting to be very warm or just enough or anywhere in between.
The heater also ha a safety feature if someone picks it up or it falls, making it automatically turn of if that happens. It is pretty quiet and doesn't disturb the surroundings and it is light weight, making it easy to transport anywhere.
I have been loving this space heater and I highly recommend it.

Great heater

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this as we keep our house at roughly 66° during the winter. I am always cold but hate going to the thermostat to lower and raise the temperature. I have this sitting beside my chair in the living room and have turned it on several evenings when I’ve been chilled. It warms up fast and has the option of heating settings. My husband who sits across the living room from me told me he could even feel the warm air from where he was at. It definitely heats up a Area or you can just have the fan set as well. Great idea and would definitely recommend and the pricing is right.

Heats well. Too loud

I bought this to heat our bedroom while we're sleeping. Even on low setting the fan is too loud for us to sleep; we really liked the older Vornado model designs that had an almost inaudible fan on low setting. It was the greatest distinguishing feature from all of the competitors, so it's unfortunate Vornado regressed on this.

why have a thermostat if it doesnt work set for 70 keeps running at 74

I bought this because of the thermostat little did I know that the thermostat doesnt work. I have my heater set at 70 but its still pushing out heat at 73. Three degrees is a lot to be off by, I expected if I set at 70 once room hit 70 it would shut off. I guess the jooks on me for trusting vornado

I tried this heater for a 300 square foot room. Had it on all day and it only made a 3 degree difference. If you sit right in front of it you will feel the heat. Great product for under a desk. Just not a large room.

Poor customer service!

I bought this heater yesterday but little heat is produced. Called Velocity and the young lady could only repeat that it is a supplemental heat source. It isn't supplemental if there is no heat. Trying to heat a 160 Sq ft room and can't get it to 60°!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Velocity 5 whole room heater with auto climate has a nice and compact design. It has a safety underneath that makes it work, so if you decide to move it in the room you have to power the machine on again but if you bump into it then you are safe! The heater is a little bit noisy, but heats well. You have 3 settings: low, high heat, and fan only. You can put a timer to control the time you want to heat the room. I tried different rooms especially the bathroom for a bath and it did the job.
It’s a nice and light heater but not very quiet when you have remote learning in the same room. The plastic seems a little cheap, but I like the touch screen.
