Quiet fan but little heat output

Nice looking unit, this one replaced another that was too loud, but this one doesn't seem to put out much heat. I can have it running for an hour straight in a 12x16 room and it doesn't raise the temperature a degree per the built in thermomter.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Same issue with overheating and frequent on/off

We use this for supplemental heat in a smaller bedroom. It heats quickly, but as others have pointed out, it heats well beyond the set point and annoyingly cycles off/on too frequently. It would make more sense to heat to X above set point turn off and then start heating again at X(or Y) below set point, with reasonable choice of X.

Inferior to the AVH10 and TAVH10

This Vornado while newer is much inferior to the TAVH10 and AVH10. I thought I'd try out this new model, but it is much louder and you have to set the temperature much higher than anticipated to get equivalent results to the older models. It was a disappointment a I had high hope and I love the other two products.

Climate control is better

I’ve read so many reviews on this I was afraid to buy one. I ended up getting one on a deal so I wanted to let others know vornado must have updated the climate feature. All the reviews I’ve read complained about it turning off and on every minute or 2. Well here’s how mine works, it will run on high until the temperature is reached then the fan/heat slow down, I assume it’s going to low heat at that time. It continues to run until it reaches about 3 to 4 degrees above the set temperature which in my case never happens until the furnace runs a cycle or the sun comes out and warms the room.
Basically in my case it’s keeping the room right at the set temp by getting there on high then self adjusting to low to keep the temp stable, if the temp drops below set temp it will go back to high heat. I think it’s awesome being you have a steady set temp at all times. So it never really shuts off until the room is warmed up by the furnace in my case being I have mine in a large living room/kitchen. It will achieve the set temp very quickly in my case and I’m in a 400 plus square ft area with open hallways at each end. If you were in a bedroom it would probably get to 4 degrees above your set temp then shut down I assume. I hope this helps anyone on the fence with climate control. I absolutely love it.

Works well but very loud buzzing on operation

Heats well with nice interface however creates an loud intermittent buzzing sound whenever used. So annoying!

Malfunctioning Constantly

Doesn’t heat anything

I wouldn’t trust this thing to heat a dollhouse, much less my own apartment. I plugged it in, set it to “high” and set it to the highest temperature, which was 86 degrees. Took a 20 minute shower and came back. The heater was blowing cool air, and the room was still just as cold. If I get a couple inches away, I can feel a small amount of mildly warm air mixed with cool air, but this thing will not heat anything.

Good BUT

I bought this two months ago and I like it but it does have some flaws. One, if you set your desired temp at 70 degrees it will warm it up until the room is at 75. So I set it to 65 degrees to keep the room at 70.
Two, the heater turns on and off every two minutes to keep the desired room temp. I set it for 8 hours at night but it’s just getting ridiculous how often it turns on and off on and off again just to keep the room warm.

Pros it does keep the room warm just wish it displayed accurate room temps and it wasn’t turning on and off every two minutes.
