The is best vounter top grill i have have ever owned and used. I had a George Forman for years. I like it but the removable grill plates were always a real pain to clean after the first year. The Griddler has a very good fat /grease containment set up. The removable grill plates are very easy to clean and replace
The different temperature youbcan set for the top and bottom grill plates is excellent. The sear setting is very nice to finidh off whst ever your cooking with a nice crust. Opening the Griddler and using as a flat grill worked well. Be mindful of grease splattering when cooking this way. Easy way npt to have a mess is to lay papertowel over what you are cooking .
