Bought this for my husband as a Christmas present. He wanted a George Foreman and I was NOT buying him one. I looked around, read lots of reviews and settled on this one only bc he wanted an electric indoor grill. I was very skeptical, having had a George Foreman grill before. WOW!! I am so glad I did! Absolutely love how this actually grills the food, sear marks and all.Love how you can grill/cook from top and bottom at same time. 4 burgers DONE in FOUR minutes! Perfectly!!! Clean up is a snap!! Very easy to use! Can't say enough about this little gem!! Buy it! You will not be sorry!!

I absolutely love this piece of equipment! So easy to clean up after using, and so useful in a small kitchen such as mine. My only complaint would be the top element does not get as hot as the bottom. Didn’t take long to learn to compensate for that, but one should not have to do so. Other than that, no complaints, just a lot of usage!

I had a smaller Griddler but decided to upgrade to the Griddler Deluxe. It has a bigger surface to cook on, the plates have both the flat and grilling side together so you just flip them to the side you want. There are no extra plates to store and no upper or lower plates. It also has a built in grease catcher so no little cups that get knocked out of place. This is the best Griddler I have owned. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. I use it every day.

The griddler I received did not operate properly from the moment I received it. After the temperature is set, a small red light can be seen until the grill reaches the set temperature. At that point, the light turns green. There is a light for the upper and lower grill. The light for the bottom grill never turned green. I'm not sure if the problem is with the light or maybe the bottom grill never reached the set temperature? I'm returning the grill and requesting a refund. The grill is also much larger and heavier than I expected. I ordered it because of its features, but am sadly disappointed. I'll keep looking for a similar grill that is made by another manufacturer.

I have been using Griddler Deluxe for almost a month.
Some have complained that the plastic knob that controls how far down on item your grilling breaks and the spring knob that unlatches to fully open to use both top and bottom for a flat griddle breaks also. My reply is this griddle is pretty heavy and as long as you dont slam bang it open or closed these knobs work perfect.
Some have said top grill doesn't get as hot according to temperature setting. I've found when open for girdling pancakes or cooking bacon, temp surface tempeture is pretty close, using my infrared temp gun. So I don't have anything to complain about.
Everything I've cooked on this grill has come out cooked really nice. It's versatility has allowed me remove from storage cabinet, two items. George Forman, and waffle maker.
I did buy the waffle inserts.
I'm very happy with this Griddle.

The Griddler is probably the best piece of kitchen equipment I’ve ever had!!! Its ability for the top to open flat is fantastic. Twice the cooking space but can close back up to its original position and not take up so much room. I really love the searing feature. I use the Griddler several times a week. I wished I could found it long ago. I have always been big fan of Cuisinart products.
