This was a gift: Pro: easy to clean, does a great job cooking, has reversible plates that are very easy to remove and place back on. Easy to clean plates that can even put in dishwasher. You have temperature controls on both sides. Versatile for different jobs. Can use open, folded, one side, both sides or lower top for panini. this would be so great for grilling meats and burgers, but we are vegan. I can really pile on the vegetables. Cons: For me it is big, clumsy to move while in open position and still warm. My island is small and while the unit is still warm I find it difficult to move out of the way when I'm all done cooking; that is when I need that space for eating. It's an issue I can find a way to solve.

We have only been using the Griddler Deluxe for a few weeks but already like a lot of things about it: The product is compactly built, heavy enough (about 15 pounds) to be stable, but light enough to move. The controls are very simple and focus on the most important thing - temperature settings. Upper and lower grill plate settings ad lots of flexibility to what / how we cook things. Reversible, easily removable and dishwasher safe grill plates are a very positive feature. So far we are mainly grilling sandwiches and reheating pizza in the Griddler but its simplicity and convenience will ensure our expanded use.

I LOVE this Griddler. I use it for steak, quesadillas, panini's, and pancakes. It is the best Griddler I have ever had. This is my second one because one griddle on the first one quit working which was a bummer. I highly recommend it.

I bought this for making Grilled sandwiches and for doing quesadillas. For me it was important to have both a flat side and a ridged side. Since plates come off they are very easy to clean. They say dishwasher safe but I usually hand wash right away. I started off using a George for grilled sandwiches and this is worlds better. For quesadillas it's great as they cook in half the time and require no flipping which means no mess versus a standard stovetop griddle. I find that it cooks very evenly and it's nice to have the temperature control when needed. When open full it folds flat Some annex plan is to do fresh baked tortillas which previously I was only able to cook one at a time on the stovetop, with this I should be able to cook for at a time.
