We received ours as a gift. Mine has jammed one time too much. It doesn't matter if I keep a small amount or more beans. I don't know if because I drink a lot of espresso which requires a finer grind. Also my lid was dropped on the vinyl flooring and it broke in pieces. I've been waiting for the lid to come in stock so I can replace it. I'll give it another chance then. Nice gift still. We have plenty other Cuisinart products in our home to enjoy.

Had two of these, each breaking down in very short time. Would not recommend it to any one. It seems that it is also a discontinued model. So why replace bad with bad.

The Deluxe Conical Burr Mill is the pinnacle of grinders. It’s quiet, quick and grinds beans to perfect sizes based on what coffee experience you wish to have. For me it’s Cortados and double espressos.

Sadly, this grinder keeps getting stuck! This is a replacement for the same coffee mill that I had for many years. This one hasn’t worked properly since the first grind, but I’m just no patient enough to go through the return process!

It mills just fine and it's easy to operate. The fill container is small and running a weeks worth can get messy. The conical hopper is not water tight and water gets trapped between the plastic layers.
