Great All Around

I use it for Hiking/Backpacking. It's very durable, good battery life, tracking is perfect. Does exactly what I got it for and more! I also love the other tools on it as well, elevation, compass, barometer.

If you're looking for a color screen or a more interactive experience. Text back or answering phone calls and completely having your phone away from you then this might not be the right watch. But I wanted to walk to notify me and give me a quick description of text messages or notifications. Really good GPS and stats while working out. And rugged design for my line of work.
This watch is exactly that. Not too many frills, battery lasts at least a week while working out every day for about an hour. Much happier that I got this watch at this price rather than the more expensive colored version with features I didn't think I would benefit from.
What was a tom-tom that had onboard media storage so that I could be 100% without my phone on workouts and it Bluetooth audio to my headphones. This watch is not like that but I find I have my cell phone with me to stream music... in the past with the TomTom I was only listening to my downloaded music I purchased in the years past. Now that i prefer streaming music and I subscribe to a streaming service, I don't feel a need for on board media storage option on my watch.
Very happy, would recommend !!

This smart watch has been nothing short of amazing. I had a GShock for the last 15 years and wanted a smart watch that was more rugged. And this has checked all the boxes. The solar feature is wonderful. Very easy to use and get paired.

Great all around rugged watch

Great watch. Wear it all day with no problems. Wish the charger was not proprietary but that's a small issue. GPS works only when outside with no cloud cover. Very customizable and much more useful than many more expensive smart watches.

Most comfortable and useful everyday watch. From working in the yard to backpacking trip knowing my activity level daily and where I am when I enter a new place. This watch fulfills all my needs.

Never charge youre watch again

Overall great watch, has so many features and the UI is amazing. I have struggled to get used to past watches for weeks, yet with this one all it took was about 4 days. Over all great construction and the plus is potentially never having to charge youre watch ever again. As I write this review I have about 50% on my Instinct Solar and have 13 days before the next charge. And for the charge all I have to do is go for a walk or bike ride and I'll be back up.

The perfect watch? Almost...

The Instinct is an excellent watch. it would've got 5 stars IF the HRM didn't cause a burn after wearing for 48 hours.
For shorter stints, the HRM works well and does it's job. The built in solar panels work really well. The battery life is exceptional. Turning the HRM off keeps the watch going for about 30days without charging. Of course having GPS on dwindles power quickly. The mail-spec build gives me a real piece of mind.
I wear the watch everyday and it does everything I need it to do.
