Horrible. keeps disconnecting from phone.

I need to reconnect/pair constantly. Have reset, updated etc but nothing works. Essentially useless without phone connection.

Glitching out

I’ve had my Instinct Solar for just a little over a year and got it as a pre-deployment gift. Towards the end of my deployment the battery life has drastically gone done even on a full charge. And I have to keep it in low paper mode because even when on a full charge after one notification it will shut off and need to be hooked back up to the charger again.

Like very much the features

When it's working it's great however it keeps randomly disconnecting from my pixel 7 phone. Sometimes it's after a couple of days sometimes a week or more. Hence the low rating. I wish it would work consistently .

Everything is wrong

-Compass is way off! -Temperature is wrong! -Always powering on and off watch to pair with phone! -Pairing cuts off randomly! If everything else is wrong, I don’t know if I can trust the other features but I have no way to check them!

Good feature set but awful battery lifetime

I had Garmin Instinct Solar for a few years only. It’s a very good watch in terms of feature set. I use it mainly for hiking and the apps integration is excellent. The only issue is that now the battery is getting really weak. It only last about 1 hour hiking tracking with GPS, I remember that it lasts almost a day of tracking when new. There is no way to replace the battery and very soon this watch will become a paper weight. It shuts itself down after a few hours eventhough the battery indicator says 20 odd days! Will never buy smart watch with irreplaceable battery anymore!
