Awesome watch!

I really like this watch! About the only feature I'd add would be a way to monitor blood sugar. But I really like the amount of time is on each full charge and how many other things it monitors.

Great but

I am happy with the watch. I wish that it could be used with Garmin golf. I don't need anything complicated, just front middle and back yardages. I thought it would be standard with any Garmin watch.

Cool watch, battery doesn't last

I bought this watch about 4 years ago and it performed great until about 3 months ago. At first the battery life shortened by a couple days, I could live with that. Now I can't get the watch to stay charged for more than a day. I've tried all the Garmin support recommendations but it hasn't helped. Since this is a solar enhanced battery it's not an easy battery replacement and Garmin support doesn't make it easy to get in contact. Wish the battery still worked, it's a great watch otherwise.

Loved it for a while…

My watch is almost a year old. It has worked great till this last month. It would last almost 2 weeks before needed to be charged. When I charged it. It would always say I had 19 days till I needed to charge. With about 10 days left it would go to 0 and I would have to charge. Now it goers 24 days and it lasts about 2 to 3 days. No warning just shuts off. Today it said 20 days and died. Not sure what to do next??? Tried everything on line. Nothing has worked. Sucks for what you pay!

Battery and solar not as good as I hoped

I got this after having an Instinct 2 for 2.5 years. I can charge it 100% (47days) and spend most of the day in the sun and then it will be down 10-13%. How can than be? Solar not working right? Battery isn’t good? Not sure but very disappointed. I charge it more on the wall than my old one that didn’t have solar.

Great until it suddenly was bad

I bought this watch in December of 2020, and up until one month ago I was very satisfied. In the last month however, the battery life has fallen off a cliff. I followed the instructions to update the software, to clean the contacts, to do a hard reset, but to no avail. Now on Battery Saver mode the watch lasts for less than 24 hours on full charge. Even more strange, in the last month there were no "hard wear" events (like using at high temperature etc.). I find it hard to imagine investing in one of the premium watches with this experience, as I would like to start running ultra marathons and could use an upgrade in the maps functionality. But this sort of sudden loss of performance does not instill the trust I would need to continue with Garmin products.

Good performance until around 2 years of use

Bought two years ago and it has begun to shut down randomly during most workouts and sometimes during the day. More recently seems to have stopped tracking my sleep.
