After 2 Months it started having Problums

It seemed to work great for the first 2 months. Different parts of the apps stopped working. I tried many times to use downloads to fix it. s
Some worked for a time. then it just went blank. As thought the battery was dead. Charging it only took a miniate. As soon as I pushed any button it would go blank. After 6 months of this I stopped

Lasted about a year and a half.

I bought this 1.5 years ago and it was fantastic, two months ago it started shutting down even though it was fully charged, it’s annoying because this has happened during a MTB ride and a run. I bought a G-Shock to compensate but it’s rubbish compared to my Garmin (when it works), The only reason I’m writing this is as a last resort I reset my Instinct to factory settings.

I am so happy with this purchase. I originally owned an Apple Watch and when the screen broke I had two options pay for a new screen or try something new. The price of this watch was the same as fixing a broke Apple Watch screen and I’m glad I chose to switch. This watch is durable, battery never dies due to it being solar, and it functions great as a smart watch. Nothing bad to say about it, if I could go back I never would of even bought the Apple Watch.

Randomly Turns Off With Full Charge

So I have had my instinct solar for about 2 years. I had loved it up until several months ago when it began randomly turning off. I have to plug it in to get it to turn back on. I have all the latest software updates and take good care of it. I also use surge protection on my home outlets. There's no way to change the battery out so I'm basically stuck with an expensive brick. I won't be buying another.

Love the solar

I've had a Fitbit for years, but as an avid hiker I wanted something that would last longer on trail with gps. The Garmin solar does this and more. I'm very happy with my purchase!!

The instinct Solar 2 was a graduation gift to myself this year and I’m glad I invested in myself with this purchase. This is the best watch I’ve ever had. The i watch might be colorful and built for kids games like candy-land… but my Garmin watch is rugged like a young Clint Eastwood and holds up to everything I throw at it! Thank you Garmin!
