A watch, but so much more!

Had my first I Instinct Solar for a while, I wear it for everyday use, hiking and my main passion MTB!
I’ve just received a replacement unit due to a warranty battery issue. I’m very impressed with the customer service from Garmin Au, than-you!
I’m sure the new one will be every but the first one was!!

Great Features!

I bought the Instincts Solar watch about a month ago now. I am happy with the features, I found it easy to use for me. The durability of the battery is a plus, and having a GPS on my wrist all the time is also a very handy feature. It is extremely light and the band is also very comfortable. The compass, barometer and altimeter are indeed great, I track the barometer frequently for the six to twelve hours predictable weather; and there is also a feature on the barometer for storm warning. This model is solar charging one and it’s an awesome feature. I am still on a test phase, but for now so far so good.

good watch very difficult to use

I wanted a gps watch mainly for distance information when paddling, hiking, etc. Never could get it to do any of that stuff. There are plenty of videos but difficult to follow. There are too many options, widgets... too hard to organize. It is just a watch to me, until I can get help figuring out how to use gps.

Repair/Replace

I had an Instinct Solar that stopped working around the time of the latest software upgrade. I reached out to Customer Service and we tried to walk through getting it working. Things looked good, but failed again within a week. I reached out a second time to CS and the offered to have me send it back. I had a replacement within a week or so. That's rare these days and I appreciate the solid service they provided. Thank you.

I'm very happy with this watch. I’m still getting used to it. The solar feature I have not used yet because the past few days have been crappy. I love the way it saves and sync up my daily activities. I’m glad I bought this watch and plan on using it for many years :) :) z00m z00m
