Low expectations

This is my 4th Instinct replacement. They temperature and altitude apps die about 4 months in. I don’t have any expectation that this one will do better since the Garmin rep told me it was from swimming. It’s a swim watch supposedly!

Think Twice…??!

This is my third Garmin watch. (Fourth device, including the Garmin Edge for my bicycle.) It is loaded with bells and whistles…, However, the software employed in this watch is by far the most cumbersome and unintuitive of any watch / device I have ever owned. (Stupidly.!)
I am no Luddite, I have numerous devices from all brands that far exceed the mental compatibility of this product.
Note to developers; shake your head!! A rethink of the software of this watch is essential.
Sorry, my evaluation could not be more favourable, I love Garmin products, but. completely missed the boat…..

Great GPS watch

I use the when we go exploring , and it is nice to have peace of mind when marking waypoints and such for routes back. It really works well on that feature, as well as the smart functions.

Very disappointing

I was initially very happy with the product, lots of features, battery life seemed great, robust, ...After almost 2 years using I regret this buy. The GPS sync takes forever and often fails, hence it's unusable, and the quality of the battery is terrible. The performance has decreased very rapidly and I'm afraid I will soon be unable to use the watch

Bought for battery

Bought for battery and is really good for steps, calories and rugged use. Cons are poor sleep measurement and doesn't record miles correctly on my treadmill

Battery life is great

Bought to avoid charging continuously. Apps are driving me crazy. Want to pick walk app to infirm me of distance, speed, steps. My brief experience can't get time clock started. Tried same with run, same results. Are there any instructions that utilize the KISS approach?
