Only a couple of weeks into ownership but so far I love it, this was exactly what I was looking for, great features, rugged, battery life is excellent.

Good for hiking

Had it two weeks - gone on few hikes like the accent feature and back track feature- the heart rate is so off - very disappointing as far as a health tracker - the solar feature works - I have recharged it days or kept it neutral while hiking in sun -

The battery last so long I charge it up a week ago and still got over 85 % left and the app is so easy to use

Super Activity Tracker!

Loving my Instinct Solar Watch. I’m still learning all the menus and features, but so far, it’s been a blast checking out the data. The watch is very comfortable to wear and I have no trouble sleeping while wearing it. The notifications work great with my iPhone X. I wish the menus were a little easier to use. I find myself scrolling through a lot before I find the function that I’m looking for. I suppose this will improve with time.
Love the looks and performance so far. I’m looking forward to testing the GPS features soon. Sleep tracking and HR and PulseOX are fun to play with.
I’m curious if I could find any features in the Fenix 6 that I would use that this Insight Solar doesn’t have already for 1/2 the price or less.

Excellent upgrade over other fitness watches

I'm coming from a fitness focused watch and also a more rugged fitness watch. The Garmin connect app gives me better features for health tracking and the watch doesn't feel like I'm going to break it. The controls on the watch itself are much more intuitive than other rugged smart watches and more robust. The solar intensity read out gives me a lot more motivation to get up and move than any other "time to move" reminder. I want to go outside and get some sun. The watch size doesn't feel like a big weight hanging from my wrist and it acquires satellites a lot quicker than the others I've used. I'm so glad that I paid a little extra for the solar on my Instinct Solar. This is a great upgrade and I'm glad to be back in the Garmin family of products!

Great features, battery life ok

I have this watch for ove 2 weeks now and i love the feel and how it looks on my big wrist. I have riden MTB, i went swimming and no issue. The o ly issue i have is the battery life drains a lot faster than i thought. It might be just use a lot of the function of the watch.
