After an extensive search and comparison of athletic watch-trackers, the Garmin Instinct Solar won hands-down for features, style, operations, and expense. Though I received it as a birthday gift, the Garmin IS is my personal choice for a broad variety of activities! Cycling, swimming, hiking, kayaking, the Garmin IS has it all covered! Waterproof down to 100 meters, powered by the sun for extended outdoor events, with an exceptionally comfortable feel, attractive appearance, and super-comfortable feel, the Garmin IS wins in every competition!

Gps is outstanding

I think it is an awesome watch and a great tool but it is really hard for me to figure out how to work it and understand it. Once I can remember all of the steps I like to do on it it will be great. It will just take time to remember how to do all of it. I would recommend this watch to anyone 100%. Best watch I have ever owned. Thanks Garmin for such a great tool.

Great for everything I've tried

I've been wearing the instinct for almost a week. It's been amazing to have heart rate information so accessible. Since the Bluetooth isn't draining my phone or the watch, I also love the weather in the menu. I love the menus, face options, and the battery life. My only complaint is that I haven't figured out yet if it is possible to reorder the main menu options.
