All around great watch!

It’s so light weight i forget i’m wearing it at times. I wore this at the gym and tested it against several heart monitoring devices (elliptical, treadmills and such) and it was right on the money. Also i noticed that it has a great sensor for step counter!! Usually you can move your arm back and forth as you sit and it counts steps but not this watch. Some how it knows! Once you read the manual it’s very easy to navigate, user friendly as they would say. I also really love the fact that the bands have so many slots for perfect adjustments. Some watches are either too tight or too loose. Overall i’m hooked! I hike a lot and go back packing, the reason i got this watch and i’m gonna be using it all the time!

After 24 hrs wearing Watch is stuck in Boot Mode

It realy looked like I found a new friend but after I went to bed I woke up and the watch Display Garmin and did not boot any more.
also the charging via kabel is not timely any more. I guess

Amazing

I bought my instinct a week ago and it has not left my wrist. I’ve always worn an Apple Watch to track my active lifestyle but THIS, wayyyyyyyyy better. I feel it’s way more accurate then my watch before. I love it!

Difficult to use the features

Got this in January but have had no luck at keeping it connected to my iPhone 12 Pro. Not impressed at the difficulty of using the features.

Altimeter unsuitable for ski touring

After reading the manual and setting the barometer to altimeter to allow for manual calibration, I thought I was good to go.
Although the altimeter is accurate, I had to wait for the watch to 'catch up'. That is, with a measly upward pace of 200 vertical meters an hour, it was usually anywhere from 20 to 60 meters lower than i was. At the end of a break it was correct. I don't have time to wait for a watch when guiding. This is not a serious tool.

Love my Instinct Solar
