I am still waiting to see if a exchange works swim

I bought a Garmin Instinct Solar in Nov 2020, to synchronize my athletic activities with my iPhone. It does everything under the sun except what I wanted it for, which was keeping track of my out door swimming. It would stop counting laps while swimming or not be able to synchronize. I made several calls to support and was reassured that updated software would be a fix, but the problem remained. Recently I got Garmin to exchange the watch for another Instinct. I have not gotten a chance yet to see if it works for the swim function.

Small packed full of features

I’ve purchased two other Garmin watches in the past a fenix 5x plus and a Garmin fenix tactics delta solar. Use these all the time when for orienteering and wild camping. But I needed a smaller size watch which was less expensive but with the same features for everyday use. Never take this watch off now use it as alarm clock for getting up for work monitor my stress level and monitor my different types of exercise while at work and the solar panel works well never had to use the charger so far

Great watch with a huge flaw, it freezes

I got the watch 2 days ago and it was awesome. Today I set the alarm for an very important meeting 6.00am and the alarm didn't go off. Luckily I set a 2nd one on my phone.... the watch froze... seriously it froze. That's a shame and should absolutely not happen. I don't care about all the nice little features, but I care about a watch that runs and runs....
Guys, please fix this!

Great watch!

So far so good. Only two weeks in so far though. I like the basic features. Took me a bit to get used to it having switched from a Samsung watch, but I'm happy I did.

Everything I expected and more

I got this for Christmas and it has done everything that I wanted it for. I am not a very big techie but wanted the watch for hunting and workouts. It was very easy to learn to use and is easy to connect to phone with the app. I have used it hunting a few times to see how the gps and other features worked. I am impressed and would recommend this watch

Not too overwhelming

I bought the Instinct Solar a week ago and was a little nervous about being able to navigate all the features of this watch. I am becoming familiar with all the buttons and various functions, it is much simpler than I thought. Have used on many workouts thus far and can't wait to take it on multiday, off trail, outings. Also has great battery life and I have the backup of Solar charging.
