So much good stuff

I just got this for a Christmas gift so I’m still trying to get through everything and learning how it works. Getting to know you phase. The online manual is great! Navigating with watch buttons is a little confusing, not sure where the menu’s lead to or what I’m programming. But the phone app is super nice. I love how lightweight it is, soooo not bulky and awkward like some other wearables. Love love love all the outdoor activities! But takes a bit to get to those. Overall, wonderful wearable.

Received for Christmas still learning all the features and operation. What I have reviewed has been great. I am sure I will truly love it when I et a grip on all in can do that I can use.

An Excellent Smart Watch for Extended Outdoor Use

I’m happy with its performance. I like the longer intervals between charging and power conserving features. Access to activating features/functions and Connect app is far from intuitive. I would like to see a Solar MarQ with Quantum Solid-State Battery. Overall I enjoy this watch.

This is a great watch

The Instinct Solar is a great watch – it’s well made, it meets essentially all of my needs (and more), and it is reasonably priced. I’m not an athlete in any sense, just someone well into middle age and more than a few pounds overweight who has been getting back into shape. As I have lost weight, stepped up my exercise program, and started hiking more, I wanted a watch that would 1) provide health monitoring, 2) help with tracking exercising and progress, and 3) provide navigation for hiking. The Instinct Solar does all this and more – and with great battery life.
The back to start option (both straight line and trackback), on many occasions, has gotten me back to my starting point when I otherwise would probably still be wandering around lost in the woods. The navigation features are great, including importing and following a GPX route (a thing I am just learning to do). The exercise and health tracking features are solid and easy to use – and Garmin Connect is a great tool for keeping track of data and for inspiring me to keep progressing. The watch has more features that I think I will grow into using, seems to be very durable and reliable, and is comfortable to wear. I've had the watch for about 6 weeks and wear it pretty much all the time – I think it’s a great device and I recommend it highly to anyone else who thinks it would meet his or her needs.

Strong, Sturdy, and Wonderful Support

I bought this on Christmas Eve. There was an issue with the heart rate sensor not working, but Garmin support was fantastic. They had me try different things to make it work. Ultimately, I had to get a new one. But, they gave me a couple of options to receive it quickly. I got the new one, and it works perfectly! The support team made it easy to return the defective one, once I got the new one. I'm clumsy, so I've already banged it countless times. There is no sign of a scratched screen, etc.

GOT THE WATCH AS A CHRISTMAS GIFT. BEEN ASKING FOR IT FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS... WAS REALLY EXCITED THAT SHE GOT THE SOLAR MODEL FOR ME.
I HAVENT EVEN HAD TIME TO DIG DEEP INTO ALL OF THE STUFF THAT THIS THING CAN DO BUT IM REALLY EXCITED TO MAKE IT WORK FOR ME. DONT THINK I EVEN TOOK IT OFF FOR 7 DAYS WHICH IS GOOD BECAUSE IT GOT A BASELINE FOR MY HEALTH STUFF. NOW TO IMPROVE THOSE NUMBERS.
