Profile Disappointment

I purchased this for my new home. Today 12/31/25 I attempted to cook dinner. The burner turned on and worked for about an hour. When I turned the convection oven on the burner turned off and would not allow me to turn back on. Within 10 minutes the convection oven went off. At this time none of the controls would work.About 5 minutes later they allowed me to turn them on but flashed off and I have not been able to use the stove.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We’d like to assist with the issues you’re having with your range. For the issue with controls not working, we recommend disconnecting the range from power for a couple of minutes before reconnecting, to reset it. Great Oven

I love this oven. It heats very evenly. I am still learning how to use it but so far it is great.
I love the stovetop burners too. Great options and sizes for heating different size pans.
I really like being able to control the heat in small increments to get the right heat needed for what I am cooking.

Control lock problem

I loved the look of this oven and I always wanted front controls. Unfortunately after I had it for 2 -3 months someone had placed a cutting board, a box of cereal and a loaf of bread on the glass top. I wasn't worried as the control lock was on. 3-4 hours after dinner, I smelled smoke, my kitchen was on fire. I was thankful we had a fire extinguisher. The fire was small but did a good bit of damage to the glass top, my microwave bottom melted, the wall behind the oven burned and the entire kitchen was covered in smoke. We thought one of us maybe forgot to set the lock....until it happened again. I have three cats that won't stay off my kitchen counters. On two other occasions by sitting on the stove in just the right place for 3 seconds, off goes the lock, they take a step or two and turn on the burners. I am now petrified that while we sleep at night it will happen again. I looked hoping to find a way to lengthen the amount of time it takes to turn the lock on and off...I can't find one. I would love this oven and give it 5 stars if I didn't think it may burn my home down or seriously injure one of my cats.

The Lock Controls feature will lock out the controls for the oven when engaged. It doesn't affect the operation of the surface burners. For additional information, please review the online Owner's Manual - https://products-salsify.geappliances.com/image/upload/s--fjNKdJO2--/xylbh8mtk9dtzlzqbc62.pdf - Also, review page 5 of the manual regarding safety recommendations for the glass cooking surface.

Great features and safety.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked the look without the back piece and knobs but I did not want knobs in the front where it becomes a toy for the kids. I chose the digital front that you can lock the controls and not worry about someone accidentally touching those controls. Unfortunately, my kitchen isn't quite done so I haven't tried the oven part yet. I will update my review after it's done. The only thing that I didn't like,
is the way the stove cleans up. No matter what i do the glass top streaks! So far that is the only reason
