Excellent Choice for Upgraded Range

The range is so much better than our previous model. The stove elements heat quickly and are easily controlled with the digital touch sensors. We were concerned at first that our grandchildren could accidentally turn these on while playing in the kitchen; however, the two-step process prevents that from happening. We appreciate the number of cooking elements and the versatility of the size options on the multiple eyes. The stove preheats quickly and cooks evenly. The three racks allow for a variety of items to be cooked or heated at the same time. Even the storage drawer is an improvement with the soft-close feature. Overall, we have been very pleased with the range.

Poorly constructed

Used oven once. The cording has fallen and was securely fastened. The door is not on properly. Just seems poorly constructed

The range looks very nice, but it’s the worst GE product I’ve ever owned. The control panel turns itself on and is difficult to turn off. The oven has so many hot spots that I have to turn everything around at least once during baking.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The touchscreen controls are very annoying and take much more time than a traditional knob. Also, it is NOT fingerprint proof. The WIFI function doesn't work - but I think that is a bit silly anyway. I regret purchasing this instead of a more traditional oven. Do not recommend.

For cleaning the exterior of your range, we recommend using a mixture of warm water and mild detergent. This helps protect the fingerprint resistance. To wipe away small prints, you can use a microfiber cloth.

Impossible to clean stove top

The glass top gets easily stained from anything. Impossible to clean marks off--using all the GE recommended methods. Glass top gets marked up by just putting pots and pans on it. I have had oven for a little over a month and am sorry I bought it.
Also, the heat sensor in the oven is amiss. still trying to fix it, but it wrongly signals that oven is overheating

We'd like to assist with maintaining the cooktop of your range. Be careful not to slide pots and pans across your cooktop. Carefully check the bottom of pans for nicks, gouges or any rough area as these types of imperfections will causes scratches.
Daily use of Weiman's or CeramaBryte Ceramic Cooktop Cleaner will help keep the cooktop looking new. Other cleaning creams may not be as effective. ,For more information and helpful tips, please refer to the article here:

Electric Front Control Range

I've only had it about 6 hours.. I have cooked an egg which was fine. I'm excited to learn about the air fry thing! The oven heated up fast! And I love that there is no back neck to it!
