DANGEROUS CONTROLS!!!

I really want to love this range and I do really like it other than the controls are dangerous. I have owned this range for about a year and a half and have tried to burn the house down with it more than once. At first, we laughed at me for being an overweight oaf and turning on or adjusting burners with my belly but it stopped being funny when others started doing it and damage started being done to non-cookware items sitting on the stovetop. Being a professional techie, I was excited about the touch controls and the app integration then I found out how few things could be done with the app and how dangerous the touch controls are. I know there’s a lock, but that’s all or nothing so while cooking, a misplaced hand or even a cookware lid and whoops, an unexpected burner is on. We have found a couple things that can be used as covers to stop the controls from accidentally activating but I am honestly at the point where I’m ready to eat the cost of this and find something new.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am very impressed with the oven on my ge profile. I have baked several types of cookies and they have baked perfectly on convection bake. I have also used the air fry feature for egg rolls and they were very crispy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Had a GE profile before this and this is just so d. Love the steam cleaning. Haven't tried the air fryer yet but also was very disappointed a basket or two were not included sine the function was there. Like the looks and the burner lineup.

Great range

Love the range, hate with a passion the registration and trying to set up an account to use the Bluetooth, so if you buy it for that reason move on , their set up still is not complete and I have had it for 3 months and have yet to even see the menu to turn it on remotely

NEED A HOW TO VIDEO

The product is great. Your manual and having to use Smart HQ app / wi fi for the air fry mode is a joke. I have registered the products, downloaded the app and still dont know how to turn the air fry on. Also, if I have to use an app to use the air fry, the least you could do is to have a HOW TO Video that shows how to use the various cooking modes. DO NOT FORGET THE many SENIORS THAT ARE NOT PHONE OR COMPUTER SAVY!!

no ability to clean oven

The range and oven seem to work just fine. controls are very easy to use. our only issue is the steam clean setting for the oven. completely useless, with no other choice to clen the oven. This is a huge disadvantage.

We love this range’s easy to use controls, and we’re glad to hear the unit is working well for you. We’d like to provide information about Steam Clean. That is intended to clean light soil from your oven, using a lower temperature. We suggest wiping excess grease and soils from the oven, then pouring one cup of water into the bottom and starting the Steam Clean cycle. At the end of the cycle, you can soak up the remaining water and wipe the moisture-softened soil from the oven walls and door. Cooks and bakes well

I love most everything about this stove. As an older adult, I find the touch at the front of the stove problematic due to the reach to back burners and the barrier it creates to lifting a pan or baking sheet out of the oven and onto the cooktop. Tesponse tome of burners is great as are the many options to adjust for pan size. Holiday cookie baking was perfect!
Stove came with a temperature probe but appears not to have this function as there’s no outlet for the probe. I’m learning g how to keep the keypad clean but it’s a challenge I didn’t have with a range with the panel at the rear.
Am just beginning to learn to use convection function. Convection bake for the turkey was great! Really like the covered bottom element even though it might be why the oven takes much longer to preheat. Like having three oven racks.

It's true, models with a hidden bake element may take a few more minutes to preheat. However, having a hidden bake element will make cleaning the floor easier.
