Too touchy! Turns on stove too easily

Glass cracked

We have owned this oven for 10 months and absolutely love it. I even started a new hobby of baking bread! Last week I was boiling water in a small sauce pan on the large burner and heard a loud pop. sounded like water may have splashed on the oven top and made it crackle. When I took the pan off the top I noticed a small piece of glass missing and several fine cracks around it. The manufactures warranty he is going to replace the glass top but now I am concerned that this is going to be a regular thing.

Great Features, except!

Great features, except the timer notification is too low even with volume at maximum. All notification tones are all too low. Also, the storage drawer was warped right out of the box. Required a service tech visit to remedy. Sheet metal the range is made of is lighter weight than a similar Kenmore we
had previous to this one. Otherwise, this seems to be a good product, time will tell. My actual recommendation is maybe I would recommend this to a friend at getting some runtime on it.
