Nice modern range

This has been a great range. We love the air-fry option and the ability to control it from anywhere. I like that I get a notification when the oven is preheated.

The reason we did not rate this as excellent is due to no one advising us as to the height needed for the electric plug. Because our plug from the old range was a little higher than the space behind the GE range, we are unable to slide the range against the wall. No one advised us about this and as a result we now have a void behind the range and the wall. It would have been great to know so that changes to the plug height could have been modified for a complete slide in. Plus the delivery folks had no idea how to demonstrate the functions on the range or had no tools to level the unit. Although this was supposed to be done according to the delivery instructions.

Absolutely love this range. Air fryer features works great and oven cooks very evenly. Love what it looks like with no dials and everything is just touch to operate. Glass top is beautiful and so easy to keep clean.

The Star Trek Range

We had a GE stove with the same glass cooktop arrangement in terms of the burners but the previous owner had inexplicably rubbed the numbers off the dial and it made it very difficult to use. Enter the GE PSS93YPFS Range. The digital touch controls for both the stove and oven on this range feel like something out of Star Trek and take the guesswork out of cooking. There are so many features of this product we haven't used yet, like the air frying, convection cook, and synchronized burners. My reluctant wife has started helping prepare food just so she can use this thing.

We love the clean lines. The touch operation is simple and intuitive, but a bit sensitive to errant touches (we keep it locked most of the time). We wish the SmartHQ app had a better timer alarm so we could have better alerts (alarm) when we are away from the kitchen and timer goes off.
