hard to clean, have to lock it every time

I am not pleased with this stove all at. I cannot wipe it off as I am cooking because it changes the settings that i am cooking with at that moment. It makes me lock the stove to wipe it down and that shuts everything down...stove and oven. Lip on back of stove does not stop debri
And if I forget to "LOCK" stove then my grandchild and her curious fingers can turn it on in an instant!! I want a better stove!!

Love at First Sight!

Is it possible to say it was Love at First Sight with an appliance? Well, you can! I have been researching replacing an "original" GE "worked without fail for decades" electric range. This GE Profile was guaranteed to fit and it did! Top 3 features I love most so far are the Air Fry feature - I have used it to reheat pizza - the crispiness makes it taste even better than when it first arrived! The Steam Clean feature is superior to all other means of oven cleaning for both the environment as well as keeping toxic chemicals out of your home. The Temperature Probe featured means your turkey, roasts, etc. will always be cooked to perfection, period! The Convection Bake and Convection Roast are excellent. The cooktop with the multiple size elements perfect the cooking surface for every pot. The warming elements kept the turkey gravy at just the right temperature. The range has arrived just ahead of my kitchen renovation and it will definitely be the focal point with its sleek look.

Great range and features. It is challenging wiping off Crumbs and spills off the front because of the control panel. The panel is also super sensitive.
