Glass will not clean unless you use the cream after washing with a sponge first, takes too long. The control panel will not lock to make cleaning easier. Only has steam clean and that is definitely not enough

It’s understandable to be frustrated when you can’t get your appliances clean and we’d like to share some troubleshooting tips that will help.

The good news is that your range does offer a “Lock Controls” function so that pressing the pads does not activate the controls during cleaning. Simply press and hold the “Lock Controls” pad, for three seconds to lock or unlock the control. “Cancel/Off” is always active, even when the control is locked.

The Steam Clean option helps hydrate food soils so that they are easier to wipe away. The soil can then be wiped off the oven interior and racks using a cloth dampened with warm, soapy water. To remove any remaining stubborn, baked-on stains, apply a non-abrasive cleaner such as Bar Keepers Friend using a sponge or clean cloth.

Don't fall for the usage of the word slide in!

Not a true slide in. All GE "slideins" are stand alone that sit between cabinets

We are more than happy to provide guidance. Our slide in ranges are designed to fit into a free-standing range cut-out opening. These slide-in ranges have finished sides, so they do not need a side body panel kit.

Very Disappointed

Spent a lot of money on this and hate it terribly! Whenever u leave over the front edge burners can come on . Definitely not good idea to just have the glass with touchscreen as when things splatter it’s always dirty. Very dissatisfied with our purchase.

We want to help out with the burners being slow to heat and provide some cleaning tips for the cooktop. We recommend trying a quick electronic reset to help with the burners and slow heating. This can be done by removing the power cord for 2-3 minutes then plugging it back in. You can also shut the power off at the breaker for the same amount of time. Sure it’d be great if it worked

Range works as advertised the oven has an error code. Would have give it a good review if GE could service the oven soon. Waiting 4 weeks since it was installed to get a service person to fix.
