Love my new GE Profile Range. It looks beautiful and is easy to use. I love all the feature but especially the feature that allows me to lock the controls and give it a good clean.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love my new stove/oven

I love to cook and I am enjoying my new oven.
I did have an apple pie bubble over. The steam clean did not loosen the burned area.
I tried bar keepers friend but no luck there.
Any suggestions?

Steam Clean feature does not clean the oven.

I have now owned this range for 2 years. I do not like it at all. The "steam clean" function does not clean the oven, at all! Plus the owner has to put water in the bottom of the oven obviously to produce steam. This clean mode, is awful and it is the only way the appliance can be cleaned other than by hand and by hand you cannot use an oven cleaner product, you need to use Bartender's cleaning powder.
The fingerprint proof is also not true. The glass where the controls are is also not easy to clean, maybe fingerprints do not get on it but everything else does, so fingerprints must also.
The glass top is also difficult to get completely clean without using a razor when needed, so I put this as not an easy appliance to clean. This is the most disappointing oven & range I have ever owned. Especially, the non-functioning feature of "steam clean". Yes, I have use the steamed clean function of this oven and it did not clean.

Seems great except cooktop surface easily scratche

I haven't use the oven yet, but I did use the cooktop. Only once so far. I already have three little scratches on the top of my brand new ones used glass cooktop, which is pretty upsetting. It works very well so far, but I don't have enough experience with it yet.
