WORST EVER

I purchased this stove / oven about 2 years ago and was excited about the no knob feature etc. This stove has been a complete nightmare and in my opinion it is an extremely dangerous product. The stove turns on randomly when anything touches the button-free controls. Examples. I was simmering a pot of soup with the lid off and happened to be standing near the stove stirring when a bit of water flipped out of the bowl landed on the control and turned it up to full blast. If I had not been standing there it could have gotten dangerously hot and caused a serious problem. I have also seen this happen when I'm spraying it with Windex to clean it. I read one review where a woman's stove suspiciously shattered overnight and I suspect this may have been the cause. The slightest things can turn on these controls. My only advice don't buy this stove but if you already have one lock the controls lock the controls lock the controls. But that's not going to help you if it happens while you're cooking like it did with me. This has happened many times and I regret spending the money on this stove and would never buy another one like it.

We love the stove, but two things I think we need to point out. We were replacing a 20 year old G profile and had countertops put in before we bought the range. The new ranges are very much deeper than the old ones so now we have to get the quartz countertop cut another 2 inches after the fact. One other thing when I attempt to try to use the air fryer it states that I have to download the app and register. I do not want to attach my stove to some server somewhere. I don’t know who’s running it. Those are my only two concerns but they need to change that where you can run your air fryer without connecting to Wi-Fi.

The range looks very nice, but it’s the worst GE product I’ve ever owned. The control panel turns itself on and is difficult to turn off. The oven has so many hot spots that I have to turn everything around at least once during baking.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
