Great Range

The modern technology is easy to use. Controls are user friendly and there are numerous features for the oven that most oven do not have. I wasn't sure about the no pre-heat oven for frozen pizza, but it worked great. The variety of burner sizes is a plus; I finally have a range that can fit my 11-inch cookware.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very nice range; however, it doesn’t fit into the space in my kitchen. It is a slide-in and sticks out 2” beyond the counter top/cabinets. That may not seem like a lot, but the control panel sticks out an additional 3”. That is a total of 5” beyond the counter top/cabinets. Nothing wrong with the product; just be sure to measure the intended space in your kitchen unless you don’t mind a small remodel.

Even and consistent cooking

I have had my stove 2 weeks now and I love the control and ease of cleaning. The heating is even and customizable, I was not certain about touch controls but have found that I really like them. I have not used the oven yet but it is spacious. Be careful of the sensitivity when you are cleaning, make sure you lock the controls, also I have notice the surface scuffs easily. Chicken spilled over once while boiling and I cannot get the surface smooth again.

GE Appliances never disappointed us. From our Smart wall range oven, to our washer and dryer, to our Profile Fridge and now our new babe this awesome range smart slide in electric range stove . We love it! Easy installation, user friendly. Five burners. Simply awesome.

Potential safety concern with touch pad controller

I bought this 3 months ago and cannot clean what looks like burn marks under the touch pad controller. I cannot get under the touch pad to clean it so I wonder if this is a controller hot spot since we use this burner the most. After reading about the sparking that occurred on another customer’s review, I am looking at returning the stove as soon as possible. I don’t want that to happen and worry that we have a potential safety issue for my family.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
