Bad stove

After using twice, it has quit working. The main board is out and getting customer service is challenging. We’re waiting on a part now. Very frustrating

We had it for 1-2 days and there are scratches on the stove top. It cooks good. When cleaning, you must wait until there is nothing in the oven to clean the stovetop, because when you lock the controls, it shuts everything off. I know it’s a safety feature, but it’s a pain. Keeping it clean is another pain.

Visible Insulation

Overall this oven is fine, functionally. The touch controls take some getting used to but are great in terms of keeping clean. Fairly sensitive so we keep the controls locked when not in use. My major issue is that the insulation in the door is clearly visible through the vents behind the oven handle. It’s white insulation, and looks truly terrible. The local appliance store we purchased it from came and tried to fix it by replacing/pushing it down, so it’s a little better than it was, but still visible. Even they said they didn’t understand why GE would design it that way — when they tried to push it down more it became visible through the door glass, so it clearly belongs where it was. For the price point of this unit we expected better. We had to get GE Profile for the depth of our cabinets, but if you have an option to get something else I would. This is a solid “fine” but for the money I’d go elsewhere.

Here we go Again

We had a GE PROFILE prior to this one for many years. Lost a burner and decided to replace unit due to age. Our son took the old one. Love it except for cleaning. Steam doesn’t compare to the heat clean in the last one.

RUN AND GET THIS RANGE!!

This GE stove is top notch! It has clean lines, and when I entertain at our home, we get lots of compliments on it! The touch screen control panel is awesome. All of the features are easy, accessible and very self-explanatory. The burners can be turned on with a simple finger slide or you have the option to use the plus and minus sign. I would recommend this stove to everyone who is looking for a stove.
