Great looking, great working

This is my second GE Profile range. I was happy with the first one, and loved the look of the new one. Just started using it, and am very happy with it. Lots of great features that the first one didn’t have. Bigger cavity (fan for convection is smaller), 3 sec. Lock-no accidental changes, inside temp probe, steam cleaning. Etc.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thought it was SELF CLEANING

I shopped the stove for months and watched the videos. I was sure that this was steam AND self cleaning. I just did the steam cleaning feature (that is all that is on this model) and am disappointed in the results. Is there a Profile (like this) that DOES have both of those features or did I dream it? TOO LATE NOW. In addition, I waited from August to mid December to get delivery.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great appearance, functional oven, broiler and air fryer.. CONVENIENCE at your Fingertips However, cleaning is not easy as they say and requires diligennce after EVERY USE or the oven looks terrible. Must be vigilant about spills or even dispursement of grains of sugar as they burn immediately and require much work to clean.

Allow the cooktop to cool.
Spread a few drops of CeramaBryte® (WX10X300) over the entire burned-on area.
Using the included CeramaBryte® Cleaning Pad (WX10X350), rub the residue area, applying pressure as needed.

I am generally pleased with the range. The stove top controls are very easy to use, although they do get slopped up regularly and are hard to get streak free. The oven has functioned well with all settings that I have tried. On the downside, I find that the stove top appears to be very fragile and gets marked even when placing smooth pans on the surface. It is much more delicate than my old one. The "no preheat air fry" is essentially marketing hype. You will get a notice that the air fryer is pre-heated and it is ice cold. I just add a few more minutes to compensate. It also recommends that you only leave the number of racks in the oven that you are actually using. This meant I had to find storage for the others as I generally only use one rack. You still get fingerprints, so the no fingerprints is also marketing hype. All that being said, it has so far functioned well and has proven to be very intuitive to use.

Love this range!!! Didn’t think I would ever find one I liked better than the one I had, but I was wrong. This range is operator friendly, looks modern and classy and cooks and bakes superbly!

I have been pleased with my purchase but extremely frustrating that you have to connect your appliance to the internet in order to use the roasting or air frying option. I don’t want my appliance connected to the internet. What’s the point?!?!
