They are stealing your data

The fact that you mandate that the stove needs to be connected to WiFi in order to use features that I already paid for (air fryer) is absurd. A stove doesn't need to be connected to the internet. The only reason you would force this is so that you can pull telemetry information from the device and possibly the network that you can then sell to other companies or drive specific campaign ads for what it sees on the network.

Disappointing.

I am annoyed that to use the air fry feature requires the appliance to be connected to wi-fi and use the Smart HQ app . . . not at all interested. Interesting that when cleaning the glass cooktop with a light mist of aerosol window cleaner, the mist landing on the control panel activates the stove. However when I want to change the temperature or size of a burner, significant finger pressure is required. Makes no sense at all.
