Oven Temperatures Higher Than That Set by Controls

We love mist features and quality aspects of our GE Profile Electric Range; however we noticed that in baking, the products were consistently overdone or burned(bakery items mainly.) We purchased an oven thermometer to test set oven temperatures. Sure enough, the results were as follows: 1. T set at 250° and thermometer temperature read as 265°/2. T set at 325° and thermometer reading was 350°/3. T set at 400° and thermometer read 425°. What do we do about this?

We are so pleased with our purchase of the GE Range. It is very easy to use but the issue I have with it is learning to program the range to the WIFI so we can use the air fryer. One other comment I could make is keeping finger prints and smudges off the control panel.
