Not real impressed

I'm not real impressed with either the quality or durability of our new Profile oven and range. The very first time I removed boiled over soup from the range top burner using a new razor blade, per instructions, I scratched the top. We had our old Maytag for 14 years and I never scratched the top with a razor, old or new.
The oven racks drag and bind when pulling them in or out. The surfaces are rough and it looks like pitted metal was chromed over.
There's a few bumps, nicks, and a poorly seated gasket that appears to have come from the factory.
Also, the controls are so sensitive that I and my wife have both activated and turned on random controls such as the warming zone by letting a dish towel brush across the control panel. I accidentally turned the bridge unit on high with my shirt sleeve. Now we keep the panel locked when not in immediate use.
On the plus side, the oven cooks even and very little residual heat is let into the kitchen. Being able to broil with the oven door closed is really nice.

Super sensitive

The touchscreen is super sensitive. While stirring in one place another would turn on because of operating near it. Clean while cooking is not an option because you have to lock an operational stove while still cooking,

Heats fast, hard to keep clean

The burners heat up quickly and so far the oven cooks well. The cooktop, like most smoothtops, is a pain to clean. Looks great. Not sure I’m liking not having knobs. Being able to turn off the controls is a nice feature. No other comments yet.

Soooooo Awesome! Love the air fry selection in the oven. Love the convection and regular bake on the oven. Love the fact I can view baking time and set baking on my phone with the app. I can lock the controls so a little person or pet can't
accidentally turn on the stove top or oven. Love the warming section and expandable heating elements! Our family is really enjoying cooking with this new oven.

Good Range BUT.......

The oven is great and the stove works fine BUT...whenever you cook on the stovetop, you always have to clean it a lot after. It stains and smudges and is very difficult to keep clean.

Exciting Possibilities Ahead

This stove is far advanced to my twelve-year-old GE Range. I like the many features and the ability to control the oven with Wi-Fi. I mastered the low to high temp set-up the first time cooking on it. I look forward to many years of enjoyable use of this Profile range.

Do not buy this range

This range looks great but I’m not happy with how it works. There is a huge learning curve for this oven that I’ve never had with previous ovens. After a month and a half I had my first spill. Tried the steam clean function which was worthless. It did nothing. Next tried bar keepers friend per instructions. Did nothing. Tried dish soap, baking soda, vinegar all of which did nothing. Finally broke down and used easy off and this was the result. I used a soft sponge and microfiber, nothing abrasive and my oven looks permanently damaged after a month and a half. I’m very dissatisfied with this oven in every way besides how it looks. Buyer beware!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
