Great Oven

Love our new oven so far. The ONLY reason I didn't give the oven a 5 star rating is mostly due to my learning how to use it well. Until I learned about the lock feature on the controls, it made it hard to clean that area. I still tend to turn on the warmer eye, and have to turn it off. But, I"m still learning all the options on the oven, but so far, it has really been nice.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Large bright unit

Fits nicely into counterspace. Looks neat with no knobs. Oven is very large, so enjoying baking.
But, Oven temperature seems to be uneven. Preheat will show 375, but when I cancel and restart oven, it can show 300, so confusing.
And, glass is hard to keep clean, Control Lock has to be on all the time to clean control panel

Most irksome is that the display lights on control panel (along with matching new microwave) at night are much too bright. If I lived in a studio, I would have to sleep with blinders on. With the control lock on, the additional lights are even more intrusive. Our old Kitchenaid which had a control lock in a small indicator square had a pale bluish light that was very easy on the eyes and sleep at night. Not sure why these GE units have such intrusive LED lighting at night.
