Rack spacing is too short, puzzles don't fit

This rack is a brilliant idea. And we really need a storage solution for puzzles. But the puzzles (including Doug & Melissa puzzles!) don't fit inside this rack!! The picture shows a shape puzzle, which we have, but apparently the picture is of an older version of the puzzle. The new puzzle has the knobs too far to the right, so that you can't slide the puzzle into the slot.
We are considering cutting/ sawing off every other wire, to use the rack afterall, because nothing else similar exists on the market. But this product is surely deficient. Each rack needs to be spaced out way more (probably about double what it is now) so that puzzles fit. The top one should include one or two racks that are even smaller, for smaller puzzles.
