Easy to use even for a beginner

I’ve often looked at other cutting machines feeling like they might be too complicated and expensive, when considering accessories needed! To my surprise, this machine is very user friendly. I love the look of the ScanNCut DX, but I also love how the built in program makes it easy to use! I don’t have to go out purchasing all kinds of cartridges to create different designs. You can easily load your own designs and there are many already pre programmed! I’m excited to create many new projects with my new Brother machine!!!

Amazing Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the ScanNCut SDX125 it adds so many fun cut outs for my scrapbooks that I love so much. The kids think it's the coolest invention on the planet because they can draw something, have the machine cut their design on vinyl and make shirts! Not many kids can say their designs are on shirts! The auto blade sensor is amazing. It detects the size and thickness of your material that you're cutting and gets precise cuts every time up to 0.1" in thickness! The booklet it comes with explains everything so well and you can do so many fun things with the 682 built-in designs, 100 quilt patterns, and 9 letter fonts that come with the machine! The touchscreen display is so easy to navigate and find what you're looking for. I was amazed at how quiet the machine is when cutting. You can create an account on CanvasWorkspace that connects to your machine to access your designs easily. I love the colors of the machine, it fits in my house design perfectly! I can't wait to help with my sons kindergarten scrapbooks this year with all the fun decals I can cut!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! I don't know where to start... I love my new ScanNCut SDX125, it is easy to use right out of the box. I especially love how I can scan my daughter's name in her own handwriting in vinyl and add it to anything from her notebooks, to a cup or use htv and add it to a shirt. Being able to scan is amazing, and able to use the 5in screen to make just about any design. This is a must have for any hobby or crafter.

Best investment ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a mom a teacher and I love to sew and do crafts. This machine just made my life so much easier. I can take any image and just scan and cut. I can now turn my sons and my students artwork into decals, they are so excited about that one. I'm looking forward to saving money on Holliday gifts this year. This is my new best friend and we get along just great.

disappointment

I've had the new SDX125i for less than a month. I've used it a handful of times and the mat will not load anymore. I was able to buy another mat online and it worked great. After using it another couple of times, I'm having the same problem yet again with it not loading. I really dislike the fact that there is a different mat for this new machine that can only be fed in one direction. As for the auto blade, I think it is cutting way to deep which is also destroying the mat. I have to say it is super quiet and has a better scanner but sadly i'm returning it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great for my projects

It has made my projects and crafts so much easier to make and so much prettier to make because I can add new little things to them.. I love how I can cut stickers and fabric and it takes no time so I have free time to do other things.

My kids and I are having so much fun creating all sorts of crafts. There's easy to read and understand instructions, and I love the touch screen display. The USB function is so cool too. We like that we can change out the material we use for our creations, we don't have to just be limited to just paper.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this product so much! I preordered vinyl so I would have it when this glorious machine arrived. It does take a good min to set up and i did use some youtube tutorials and studied those instructions provided as well. So just know it takes a min to sign up then use for thr first time. But then its super fun and easy! I made a octopus and then a vinyl graphic for a shirt! I recommend this so much! I plan on using it for a side business when i get more confident later on. Its perfect for small and big products!
