Super easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super easy to use and was fun for me and my 6 year old! Easy to follow instructions and was fun for use making this box. We did learn to use a half cut on some vinyl after a few mess ups. No worries though as its a learning curb for us! Easy to store as well and don't take up much space!

So far I’ve done one or two projects, but I haven’t had it long enough to get more supplies. Easy to use and any questions I’ve had can be easily found online. Love the draw function, love what it already comes with & love that’ll be easy to USB transfer files & even easier to scan ANYTHING to cut! Quiet too! The only thing bad I could say is the price of the accessories but even that’s not unreasonable:)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am by no means, an expert crafter. In fact, I'm very new to the hobby. I spent quite a bit of time researching before deciding which cutting machine to purchase. If you just do paper-crafting the SDX might be over-kill but if you work with vinyl the SDX has a roller feed (optional) which takes a roll of vinyl. The blade depth is automatic so it adjusts to different thicknesses of material.

So easy to use and lots of projects to make

I am new to the cutting and vinyl crafting, but I have been wanting to get into it with my first machine. The hardest thing about the Brother ScanNCut DX SDX125E Electronic DIY Cutting Machine with Scanner was getting it out of the box and even that was easy enough. The instructions are simple to follow and walks through every step to get this set up. It includes a pen insert and blade insert to make the designs. The touch screen is intuitive and makes everything a cinch to operate. I love that it includes 682 patterns plus I can create my own. This comes with one project as a tutorial, which is a little gift basket and it is so cute. I love it! So far I have made some Valentine's Day decorations and some lettering to put on a window. I know I will be addicted to using this as soon as I get more supplies to do all the projects I have in mind and more!

Crafting Made Easy

I’ve never been a crafty person, despite my attempts. I was really excited and nervous to use this product, but it had been a true delight. Right out of the box, it was incredibly user friendly to set up. Everything was ready to go within ten minutes. The instructions were really clear to start and interactive which helps a hands on learner like myself. Cutting is really easy and so much fun especially for a beginner like me. Once I started I couldn't stop. I love being able to wirelessly transfer files from my computer to my machine, and I can make small edits after transfer on the touch screen area of the machine.

I absolutely love this scan and cut.
I love that it has a built in scanner to scan my drawings and its touch screen.
It has patterns and custom designs and its wireless.
It has an auto blade it measures the thickness by a sensor that detects what size to cut.

Fun for all ages.

I love the thoughtful technology they’ve put into saving several basic patterns directly to the machine. This means you don’t always have to fuss with your computer just to get simple things cut. While I haven’t cut anything aside from paper, I am excited to test out the auto blade on other materials.
