It was a real pleasure ordering and was surprised at how fast my order came. My four year old son plays with it every day. The price was very reasonable, half of what a comparable brand would offer. We also got some trains from Imaginarim and my son has given them all names of his favorite characters from a popular kids train show. I would defiantly recommend Melisa and Doug products to everyone. I will order again.

My son absolutely loves this train set his granddad got him he plays with it all the time none stop. I use to set get up the designs came with for him and now he makes up his own. He lost the designs and thankfully they have them on here to print out. I would recommend this to anyone and I do all the time. I can alway cout on melissa & doug for making wonderful products!!!

Faulty design

The train set is being unused because the support beams keep falling every time my son tries to roll the train over the tracks. I tried to tape the beams to the tracks but they still fall apart. I saw that you can buy Melissa & Doug raised track supports where each support clips on the tracks but in Canada they cost around $33 for only 6! It seems as though the design flaw was made on purpose so that consumers would be forced to spend more money on the train set.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointed in how unstable the track is

I bought this set for my son having the brand in mind, I am quite disappointed about how poor the track design is. It is very unstable and falls apart with slightest touch (we have it on train table). I am an adult and have a hard time working with it without knocking supports over, imagine frustration of my son. Please reconsider the ramps/supports design

Major flaw in design.

Major flaw in the design of this beautiful wooden train set. You must set many wooden blocks under the elevated tracks and they continue to fall, the entire track falling with them. They are not stable and this was assembled on an even hardwood floor. Took 2.5 hours to put together and it fell apart into the original pieces after 5 minutes of play.
