Cook Top Too Hot

The cooktop on this electric range is too powerful. I have had many meals burnt to a crisp even with the knob turned to low with the smallest burner option selected. I can't imagine ever trying to cook something on medium heat and forget about ever using high. This cooktop offers this "rapid boil" feature, whatever that is, so I think that technology is hooked up to the other burners. This is not a safe or user friendly unit. Don't walk away from your food.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Terrible push button heating settings defective

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The knobs on this range skip on me and the heating elements just does not seem right it keeps going on and off even at the highest settings. I'm not a fan of this range at all.
4 knobs not working correctly maybe with a new set of knobs it will work better but who knows.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cooktop had glass to chip off -

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At about month 10 the cooktop eye that is used most often had glass begin to chip off. I contacted Samsung because it was still under warranty. They said it was from impact - seriously? Who would slam a skillet on a glass cook top?? Needless to say I had to pay to replace it myself - so $500 later it is like new.
I will NEVER purchase a Samsung appliance again - rude customer service at best.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
