what a disappointment

i have the range for less than one week. the top looks like i have had for a year. the air fryer is smoking. the self-cleaning does not really work. a complete mess.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was a long wait to receive this range but wow! Was it worth it! We really love it. I love the that there are seven burners and a warming spot and that the knobs are labeled for which size burner you’re turning on for the multi-spots. It’s very easy to clean afterwards as well and there is plenty of space to have multiple pots going at the same time.
The oven functions are so great! I was incredibly happy for the bread proofing mode - I mean, what other device has that!? I am a huge baker so this was one of my favorite features. I am a trained culinary (pastry) chef so quality appliances are a big deal for me and my family. The interior of the oven is amazingly easy to clean with the self clean feature. I air fried an entire chicken and it cooked perfectly. My pastries cook better than ever with the convection feature.
My absolute favorite feature is the safety locking though. I have three young daughters and one immediately tried turning the knobs on as soon as the oven was in place. With the safety lock there was no way she could accidentally turn it on, or open the door, and I don’t have to buy any annoying or ugly safety locks! Since I can also sync to my phone I will never burn another batch of cookies because the oven will ping my phone!
All in all this is a great product and I highly recommend!

was very excited to get a new range after 24 years, our first range was great we decided to upgrade and go with the samsung and it looks great but very unhappy woth the cook top. weve only had it for 5 months and the smooth top already has scratches on it. our first range was also a smooth top and it never scratched jn the 24 years we had it. we have new cookwear and clean the top just like instructed but still has scratches. disappointing.

do not know about the range operation... but the log in to get a manual was crap! why did this not come with a printed book to read? spent hours trying to create a log in account and find the manual, not everyone enjoys wasting so much time for something that should have been much easier.

FIRE HAZARD, please do not buy!!

We’ve had this range for 2 months and 4 different times the knobs have been accidentally barely touched catching on fire 2 pizza boxes, another time a call that our smoke detectors were going off from a burning dish, lastly I walked out at night to the burner bright red/on. We called Samsung and after sending out a tech, they confirmed the knobs are sensitive, there is nothing they can do, and their solution was for us to buy childproof knob covers. Our previous electric slide in range of 9 years never had this happen once.

Fantastic range

we are loving this range. it looks so good in our kitchen. i thought the wifi stuff was gimmicky, but i'm liking it. i also like the fact that you don't have to use wifi if you're concerned about security, the feature is pretty well tucked away if you choose not to use it. air fry is fantastic because you don't have to preheat. saves so much time and energy compared to the 15 minutes of preheating our last oven had to do. and i love that it came with the tray. so far the top has been easy to keep clean with soap and water. p.s. to the guy who says his serial was missing, it's up under the control panel when you open the door.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Oven, AWFUL Sounds

this oven looks and works great, but i would not have purchased it if i had known how annoying the sounds would be. by default it plays a ridiculously long musical chime any time you set it or a timer is up. you can disable this, but the only other option is complete silence including no alarm when the timer is up. our samsung washer/dryer and even a stick vaccuum from samsung do this too. why??? who thought it was a good idea to make appliances play a song any time they are used? my only hope is that samsung will be able to offer a software update to give us three sound options - ridiculous music, simple beeps, or off. this is the last samsung product we will buy if this doesn't change.
