Despite its handsome appearance and wind-power, I do not recommend this model. It makes a high-pitched, irriitating "hum" that does not quit. It is incredibly annoying and I do not use it. I wish I could return it!

I bought this fan about a month ago and it has been in constant use ever since. It is quite heavy, but that more substantial metal frame not only makes it seem more likely to last, it also lends it a presence and stability lacking in most modern plastic fans.

Love Vornado and This Fan

I will always order fans and heaters from Vornado - no question. The one thing I don’t like about this fan is that it doesn’t have Vornado’s circulation technology (or I don’t think it does), and you can tell the difference (but that’s my fault for not looking at that). That said, I cranked the fan up to high and had it oscillate, and the fan gets the job done. If you need a very strong fan, this one may not be the best choice from Vornado, but it sure is pretty! The Pivot fans are the best that I’ve bought in terms of power…. Thanks Vornado for another awesome fan!

Very pretty fan with a fair amount of power. On setting 1 or 2 it’s very quiet, 3 is noticeable but pleasant. In combination with my other Vornado we’re making it through the summer.
