I purchased this fan today, and found it to be a tad smaller then I thought, but it does a great job of circulating the air in our large living room area, there are no flaws in the finish, and other then air noise through the blades, it is absolutely silent , I would not hesitate and pick one up today
Pros: Compact, Great speed settings, Quiet

I needed to outfit my guest bedrooms with fans in each. These fans are the best for room air movement, look great and can be adjusted for each user's air movement preference! I love the retro look and they move a lot of air. The matte black is stylish, and I've purchased the silver as well! I've owned other Silver Swan fans for years and always come back for more! This is the fifth Vornado fan I have purchased! After buying my first one I chose never to buy a different product than the Vornado. This new one for me the silver swan is fabulous it works wonderful the quality is top notch and the features are so easy to use. I have placed it in my kitchen for ventilation and does exactly what I want it to do. Great customer service and fast shipping!

This is an all around great fan. It moves a lot of air and it is fairly quiet for an all metal fan. We enjoy the retro style. We have five Vornado fans now, four different styles, and they all work great.

This fan is heavy duty and really good quality. It has the vintage look but it’s also made like it would have been originally. Mostly metal, very little plastic. Love it.

This is my 4th Vornado Fan, Excellent build and even better style. Moves a ton of air and I don't regret one bit the purchase. These fans are not as cheap as the plastic ones but you are buying a quality unit. Sturdy and made of metal. It is quiet and kinda easy to clean. The only nitpick I would have is that it doesn't point too high but maybe because of the oscillating feature, (needs some mechanical room and limitations inside)
