It blew me away! *pun intended*

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fan is amazing. Right off the bat I love the vintage style. And its not just the style that looks great but it looks solid and made of quality metal. Even for its size of being small it puts out some powerful air. We have a taller stand fan that doesn't cool down our large living room like this does. The oscillating feature reaches so far from side to side that it was able to cool everyone in the room. And the speed settings are perfect because even on low you can feel it from a good distance and I'm tired of spending money on fans that you have to have on high otherwise you don't feel it unless you're sitting two feet in front of it. I have nothing bad to say about this fan, I am very impressed and very happy. Bring it on So Cal summer, this year I'm ready for you.
Pros: Compact, Easy to install, Good Power Output, Great speed settings, Lightweight, Quiet

Only one issue, one!

I bought this fan a couple years ago during an unbearable summer in which the AC alone was not enough. I had already owned a few other Vornado products and love the quality, but this one goes beyond. The design is spectacular and the colors are perfect for my apartment. Not only is it powerful in its function, it is also aesthetically pleasing! It operates pretty quietly for this type of fan and the wind speed is terrific, with great coverage. My only beef with this product is the cleaning; the grid is pretty annoying to take out and even more to put back. The screw is set way too deep into the crevice and the plastic is too hard around it, making it a challenge to open and close. Please start sending a little screwdriver that is appropriate for the product (for this price it should be a given) or redesign it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this fan to compare to the ones I ususally get that I am not very happy with. You know those plastic ones that never seem to cool you down enough. Well this one right is more powerful. One screw to open to clean it. Great vintage styling. Even on its lowest setting (high-med-low), you can feel Air movement 10 ft away. Will oscillate or stay in one direction. It also has the ability to tilt up and down slightly.

Nice fan overall. Use it as a sleep aid. Blade is a little out of balance so when using on slow speed it rattles a bit. I can see the hub is not square to the face of the base (it moves closer then farther when turning). Not a deal breaker, but had hopes for a fan without flaws for the price.

Fan is fine - not great - and not what vornado used to produce. So disappointing to see so many great companies and businesses move to incredibly cheap alternative materials. The quality is just no longer there. Definitely will move on to another higher end producer.

I bought two of these and the first one makes a lot of noise as it oscillates back and forth. All fans make a little noise, but this one kept me up at night. The second fan made an awful noise, as if there is a screw loose inside, rattling as the fan moves. Both fans are a major disappointment.

Purchased after reading wirecutter review, gorgeous looking fan, sadly, rattles upon start up until at speed and rattles after turn off until at full stop, am too irritated to look into it, also, feel the low speed is too fast and the fan itself a bit large for intended use, but that is my problem…
