Great structure but a few problems

This set is excellent. I love it. It actually has a good structure. The value for price is REALLY good. BUT the back ship kept breaking when I tried to build it... Overall, I still love it, and is probably my favorite set to this day.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The closest to a time machine you'll ever get

I played with Legos all the time when I was a kid. My most favorite were the pirate sets, I would put down a blue blanket like it was an ocean and sail the seas with my boats and pirates all day. The SECOND I laid eyes on this set, all of those fond memories came flooding back to me and I purchased it immediately. I built it with the same anticipation and excitement I had when I was a kid. Now, I have a child of my own who is the perfect age to start making memories like I did, and I am beyond excited to throw down the blue blanket ocean and re-live my childhood with her as soon as I am finished building this set. From the bottom of my heart, Lego, thank you for making this possible.

My New Favorite Set!

I have almost bought this on multiple occasions but I bought something different. I have probably spent 1k on Legos this year and this tops it all! I was among one of the first supporters on Lego ideas. Brickey_Brick thank you so much for making this idea there! I have one complaint. My instruction manual was messed up. I used the online instructions. I wish Lego could place the instructions booklet better in the box because collectors like me like to keep them nice. I gave it a five star because the fault was with Lego not within the set. Thank you again Lego just work on those instructions please!

This set was a blast. The unique designs, colors and theme made this one of my favorite sets, if not my number one favorite. Definitely don't regret the buy.

Looks great with or without an eyepatch

I've done an obscene amount of building (and...gulp...spending) during quarantine and this has remained my favorite build. It's been the most fun to build and the most fun to look at after it's finished. It makes a great set piece. Highly recommend.

The only issue I've sad so far with the set it missing black single brick and can you bag the black and brown pieces it's kinda hard to see the difference at times

Great Product

This is a great set I will need to buy a second one so I can have it set up both ways. There is a small error on page 273 steps 308 and 309. It shows pieces on the wrong steps but is self explanatory to get figure out what’s wrong. But, again this is a great set.
