Poor warranty

The power button fell off after about 8 months. Fortunately it is still under warranty and Braun will repair it. The downside is instead of Braun shipping you a working unit, I have to send my unit to CA to be repaired and sent back. Not sure what I am supposed to do without a shaver for 2 weeks.

Directions are pathetic

There is nothing complicated about an electric shaver but the directions leave much to be desired. There is a switch above the power button. I can push it up or down and can tell no difference in the shaver one way or another. What does it do? The pictures that come with it mean nothing. The edger pops up but how do you get it to work? It just pops up with no movement. What turns it on? Why make something simple to be difficult? More info on the powercase would be be helpful. Does it have to be plugged in or does it have a battery in it that holds a long charge? Simple details would be helpful to understand the product better.

We want you to use all of the features our Series 9 9370cc has to offer, so we're sorry that you weren't a fan of the user manual. The switch above the on/off switch is called the multi-head lock switch. On page 10 of your manual, it goes more into depth as to what it can do, which is locking the head to shave those hard-to-reach areas. The PowerCase can be used in two ways. Firstly, the shaver can be charged in the PowerCase with a smart plug attached. The shaver will be charged until 100% full. Falls short

I’ve used this razor for a little over and have officially given it more than a fair shot. I had high hopes for the S9, but have found that it doesn’t get as close, regardless of the angle or amount of tugging. I previously used a Series 7 for 11 years and almost got another one due to how well it performed. But instead, I made the choice to get the newest and most improved version. Aside from the poor closeness the S9 has shown, I’ve had to replace the cartridge after 7months of use (estimated lifespan is 18months) and the on/off button broke after 6months of use. This isn’t really the quality I’ve come to expect from Braun.

Terrible

I don't know if all these high reviews are just lies, or maybe it depends on your skin, but this razor is by far the worst I have ever used. It is indeed beautiful looking, but its quality of shaving is terrible. It barely shaves my neck, and it leaves be with razor pumps and irritation. I have tried everything to make it work-- dry v. wet; change in angle; etc-- but nothing worked. I am returning it. Very unfortunate.

The best shaver I had

Companies have "ups" and "downs". It does not relate to Rolex watches, but surely relevant for vacuum cleaners, skies, boots and shavers. I used Panasonic best shavers for many years- Braun is a serious upgrade in feeling, quality, shave time and maintenance. The best.

Best shave I ever had.

I have always used electrics. Norelco then Braun series 5 and 7. Last time I went to the barber I wanted to indulge in a straight razor shave but could not due to the pandemic. Then I got my model 9370. I don't feel the need for a barber shave anymore. My face is as smooth as a baby's butt. It is so close I do not need to shave every day. The only con is the clean and charge station loads from the back instead of the front.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Extremely poor design and somewhat unusable

The entire design is off. The thumb rests on the shaving head lock/release slider and the setting is forever changed during a regular shave. Shaving quality is pitiful. For the cost, I really wanted to like it but I ultimately hate this razor. I keep it and my rotary razor both on the counter next to each other and when I need a clean, close shave I have to fail back to the Norelco rotary. Big loss on this investment

While it may take several weeks for your skin to adjust, it should have adjusted if you purchased it in December. Junk, the on/off button popped out, and is broken. This shaver doesn't shave as good as my old rotary unit. Way over priced, doesn't last, and the shave sucks. Save your money, buy anything else.
