Love the 9

I have used Braun shavers for decades but I really love the 9. I actually enjoy shaving with it. I was surprised to see such poor reviews. Definitely not my experience at all. The foil broke kind of early on so I did have to replace it but that didn’t bother me. I also love the clean and charge station. That works very well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Power button pops out

The power button is made of cheap plastic. It popped out about 7 months after I purchased the shaver, after which I sent it in for an in-warranty repair. Two months after receiving the fixed shaver, the power button has again popped out. This is not the quality I expect from Braun.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Close shave

This razor is great. I used to have a Remington. It took forever to shave and it didn’t shave cose. I was hesitant to buy the Braun because of the cost, but it was worth every penny. I get a close shave and I don’t have to constantly go over the same areas. It also shaved hard to reach areas like my chin.

Good Shaver

I bought a series 7 to replace my triple head razor. I wasn't happy with the series 7 at all so I traded up for the 9. I don't shave every day so when I do, there is some stubble. The 7 just didn't cut it, literally. I would have to go over and over the multiple times. This is the first electric razor that I have used that can handle my tough beard with a few days growth with minimal effort. It appears well built. I like the fact that this comes with the trimmer built in and not a separate attachment like the 7.

Great shave, but overall a crappy product

I bought a Series 8 about 4 years ago. Best shave I ever got from an electric razor. After a year, though, the charging cord light came on and razor would not operate. Unable to find the receipt to send for repairs, I ended up buying a Series 9. Still great shave, but 9 months later, same issue with cord light. Two more occurrences of this issue within the warranty period. Foolishly, I decided to try once more, and bought another series 9 last August. Today, the cord warning light came on. Ironically, all 3 razors were never plugged in; only used the clean and charge station. Sorry Braun, despite the great shave, I need a more reliable product

I purchased on Black Friday and happy I did as it’s a great shave. I have been using on my head as a skull shaver and it’s the best I’ve found! Close clean shave no razor burn and no tugging! Awesome product.

Very pleased with the overall product performance

I charged it up in less then an hour and the results were better than expected.
The totally pictorial instruction leaflet has allot to be desired as the details would have been much better understood had Braun used their literary skill sets in conjunction with their artistic talents.
