Problem with new Braun Serious 9 Head

After 2 months the head 925 doesn't work anymore.
I have been using Braun razors for more than 40 years. The last head is a big problem.
I will not buy any more Braun. It is extremely expensive, and bad quality.

Bring back the series 7 790-004

I bought this razor to enjoy the improvements. I’m very disappointed. The head is too wide and it’s like driving a bulldozer down a single lane street. I really had to work to try to get a good shave.
I dug my series 7 out and I’m loving it. I actually look forward to shaving. Bigger shaver heads don’t necessarily mean better shaves. With my series 7 I’m done in half the time and the shave is twice as good.

After been loyal to Norelcofor 5 years I decided to make a change and try something different, so I turned to the top of the line Braun the series 9, expensive, good reviews, expecting to be as good or better than my faithful Norelco, not the case of the results, definitely doesn’t shave as close and takes longer to shave., a waste of money because I am back using my old shaver..

In case this helps, here are some tips on how to get a close shave:
Step 1
Make sure your shaver is charged and ready to go.
Step 2
Try to shave before washing your face, because the skin is usually a bit puffy after washing.
Step 3
Replace the normal shaving head with the Braun pre-shave ProComfort head using an EasyClick.
Step 4
Turn on the shaver as usual and rub it over your face for 30 to 45 seconds – no water or washing required! The soft silicone bristles will gently lift your beard hair.
Step 5
Turn off the shaver, and with an EasyClick, replace the ProComfort head with the normal shaving head. Switch the shaver back on. Stretch the skin with your free hand before you shave extra sensitive areas or those that need a closer shave. This ensures a smooth glide over the skin.
Step 6
Hold the shaver at a right angle (90°) to your skin and shave against the direction of beard growth. Also, remember not to shave the same areas repeatedly to reduce the risk of skin irritation.
Step 7
Keep the pressure even to get the best possible shave. You don't have to press as hard as you would with a manual razor.
Step 8
Clean your shaver regularly. Depending on the model, you can use the Braun Cleaning Center, which automatically cleans and lubricates the shaver at the touch of a button.
Finally, we recommend you replace the cutting parts every 12-18 months to maximize performance. Don’t use too much pressure and stick with it!

Had the Ser. 9 for 18 months (replaced an old Ser. 5) and I can say it gives the closest shave I've had from any electric shaver. I've been using electric shavers since 1965.
I've tried various kinds of circular heads (Philips/ Norelco) and a selections of Brauns and Panasonics over the years, but this gives the closest shave.
I shave dry and get a much closer shave if I use a pre-electric solution, like Williams.

It is certainly the biggest, and most expensive, shaver I've owned, substantially larger than the Ser. 5, but it comes with a travel case. I've read reviews that mention that the foil is especially delicate - I try to take care not to damage the foil and it has held up just fine.

Good for a close shave, but slower

Pros:
Extremely high quality and hefty feel. The razor feels “premium” and I doubt it will break or have any quality issues for a long time. I love the attention that was put into the quality. This razor also shaves closer than any other electric razor I’ve tried before. If you are focused on the end result of super smooth skin post shaving, this is a great razor. The shaving head pivots to meet the contour of your face, and glides easily. I did not experience any roughness, scratchiness or other concerns – the razor heads glide smooth without irritation.

This razor also shaves closer than any other electric razor I’ve tried before. If you are focused on the end result of super smooth skin post shaving, this is a great razor. Also, while the razor is Li-Ion and can be used cordlessly most of the time, I found it unfortunate that razor does not work WHILE PLUGGED IN as well. I would be worried about forgetting to charge it and then being stuck unable to shave in the morning while waiting for enough charge to get going. Not a huge issue either, but also something to be aware of. Final con I noticed was just the time it takes to properly shave. While the shave is super close, it isn’t super quick and does require a few passes to get everything just right.

Best shave ever

I shave my head. This is the best product I ever used. It's comfortable and easy to use. I love that it works with or without shaving cream. It gives me a great shave everytime. No skin irritation.
