[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Braun Series 9 shaver is, by far, the best shaver I have ever used! This shaver comes with a clean and charge station, the shaver does 40,000 cross-cutting actions per minute, you can use the shaver for wet and dry shaving, has a 10 directional flex-head, as well as other great features! This Braun series 9 shaver can do 40 minute cordless shaving, can do a 5-minute quick charge, and more! I cannot believe how great this shaver is - I absolutely love it!! It has a beard trimmer in the shaver too. You can lock the 10 directional flex head in place if you choose. Although the moving flex head is what gives me the such a great shave in my opinion! The way the flex head moves on the curves of my face is phenomenal! It gives me a wonderfully soft, close shave every time!! With no nicks or cuts whatsoever!! It shaves my face quickly, and impressively within a bit more than a minute! They have provided a small brush to remove hair shavings, and also a great carry case. Using the cleaning station is very easy, too! You just open the cleaning station that's provided, and slide the solution into the charging and cleaning station. Put the shaver in the dock and push the power button. You can hear it getting cleaned with the solution and takes less than 20 minutes. I HIGHLY recommend this Braun shaver! Best shave I've ever had, by far! I would definitely buy again!

Worth every penny

I have been shaving with a blade for over 30 years because I never felt like electric razors gave a sufficiently close shave, and I love the feeling of having no stubble at all. However, in this past year I became increasingly frustrated with blade shaving--with the time it takes, the mess it causes, and most of all, with the ever-present nicks and cuts no matter how careful you are. So when I read the reviews of the Braun Series 9 Pro I decided to give it a shot.
I have been using the razor for 4 weeks now and it is absolutely the best and most comfortable shave I have ever experienced. The motor is powerful, the head is very smooth, and I can complete the shave and clean the razor in 10-15 minutes. It leaves no razor burn at all and shaves nearly everything as close, or closer, than a blade.
Of course no electric razor can get as close as a blade in all areas--there are a couple of places on my neck that the Braun just can't get completely smooth because of the way my beard grows, but I can touch up those areas in the shower with a razor as needed. That said, the Braun shaves my lip, chin, and cheek areas closer than a traditional blade, with none of the nicks and blood that always seemed to come along with blade shaving those spots.
The charging and cleaning station also works great. I love being able to just quickly brush out the razor and then dock it in the charging station for a thorough cleaning.
This razor is expensive so I realize it may not be in everyone's budget. But if you can afford it, I highly recommend it. It is much, much better than any other Braun or Norelco razor I have tried in the past.

most satisfying shaving experince I've ever had

I have used Braun shavers for years and have always been happy with the performance of your products . I purchased a series 9 pro in February and have been more than pleased with the results.I always get a very close shave with no razor burn. the razor is easy to handle and cleans beutifully in the cleaning and charching station. I would recomend this razor to anyone.

Good shaver with several flaws

I have used this shaver only twice. Both times dry, once after 3 days of not shaving, once after on day. Shaver is noisy, but the shave is smooth. After 3 days takes a long time. You have to passed on your face several times. If you shave couple of times a week this is not the right shaver. Don't cut the fine hairs on the neck. Curvature of the shaving head dose not allow to reach under the nose. But you can use the trimmer. Trimmer width is too narrow and too close to shaver head. This shaver is not for traveling. Cleaning part to bulky and cleaning solution can not be put in carrying case (TSA), so you need to carry a suite case and pay extra, unless you are travelling first class. No plastic cover for shaving head, but carrying case quite good and sturdy. A plastic cap can be produced in China for about 50 cents. Consumables. Require cleaning solution and lubricant oil. All extra expenses. This a good shaver, but not suitable if you travel and if you don't mind the bulky cleaning and consumable. They don't want to sell just a shaver, but also a steady income stream by selling consumable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
