Directions are pathetic

There is nothing complicated about an electric shaver but the directions leave much to be desired. There is a switch above the power button. I can push it up or down and can tell no difference in the shaver one way or another. What does it do? The pictures that come with it mean nothing. The edger pops up but how do you get it to work? It just pops up with no movement. What turns it on? Why make something simple to be difficult?
More info on the powercase would be be helpful. Does it have to be plugged in or does it have a battery in it that holds a long charge? Simple details would be helpful to understand the product better.

We want you to use all of the features our Series 9 9370cc has to offer, so we're sorry that you weren't a fan of the user manual. The switch above the on/off switch is called the multi-head lock switch. On page 10 of your manual, it goes more into depth as to what it can do, which is locking the head to shave those hard-to-reach areas. The PowerCase can be used in two ways. Firstly, the shaver can be charged in the PowerCase with a smart plug attached. The shaver will be charged until 100% full. Alternatively, the shaver can be charged in the PowerCase without the attached smart plug. Feedback is important to us, and we'd like to hear from you about this. Please call us at 800-272-8611.

Braun 9477

I moved up from the S3 razor to the 9477. The 9477 takes seconds a day for an extremely close shave. My old razors would take 5+ minutes a day and not get as close of a shave. Very high quality razor, recharging case and cleaner base. I'm extremely happy with my investment.

Use it to shave my bald head and is the best of the past 3 Braun shavers I've used for years. Love the larger size and all the cool new stuff the entire system does.

Awesome Upgrade!!

I had an old S3 I’ve been using for years and have been wanting to upgrade for a while now. Got myself the 9Pro for Christmas and I’m loving it. I usually don’t shave on weekends and always had more growth than my S3 could handle by Monday. The 9Pro cuts thru everything with no problem. I honestly can’t believe the difference! I thought the new one would be nicer, but I didn’t realize it would be so much better!,

Falls short

I’ve used this razor for a little over and have officially given it more than a fair shot. I had high hopes for the S9, but have found that it doesn’t get as close, regardless of the angle or amount of tugging. I previously used a Series 7 for 11 years and almost got another one due to how well it performed. But instead, I made the choice to get the newest and most improved version. Aside from the poor closeness the S9 has shown, I’ve had to replace the cartridge after 7months of use (estimated lifespan is 18months) and the on/off button broke after 6months of use. This isn’t really the quality I’ve come to expect from Braun.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Series 9 Pro is definitely better

I had a Series 9 shaver for several years and passed it down to my son after he tried it a few times. I went to purchase a replacement and found the Series 9 Pro and decided to purchase it due to the portable charger for traveling. I found after recieving it that is shave more comfortably, closer and faster. Not a revolutionary difference but a strong evolutionary improvement. Overall, I say it performs overall another 10% to 20% better than my old Series 9. I'm very happy with this new Series 9 Pro shaver. Thank you from Omaha, NE.

I’ve always been a Gillette gel guy but my son used electric so I thought I’d give this one a try and I couldn’t be more pleased with the truly excellent shave I get with it. So close, so gentle and so fast and easy. Love the cleaning station everyday. What a wonderful product and perfect shaving experience! Get one!
