I stated with 5 then went to 7 (5 total) now 9 (3 total) Grip Shave Power indicator all better. I do not know why but on old 5 manual stated shave in small CW CCW strokes and even now with the advance 9 foil (cassette) the 9 gives me a baby face smooth shave with 0 irritaion or pull. Everything is just better with my 3 series 9s
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good electric shaver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to try this electric shaver after being a standard razor blade shave man. Like many of you, I don't enjoy shaving my face, and this Braun Series 9 Pro shaver helps make it a little less of an annoyance. This shaver works reasonably well and is less irritating than non-electric razors. What else do you need to know?
So, in reality, this works well, but still leaves a couple stubborn hairs that I quickly get rid of with a razor, which really isn't too bad, but I kind of wish it got 100% of the hair instead of the 99.9% it actually gets.
Does it speed up my shaving routine? Eh...maybe a little, but nothing dramatic.
What's a negative about this? The base charging/cleaning unit works fine, but you need to buy and replace a cleaning cartridge - which is kind of annoying as well.
Overall? 4/5 stars. It's good, and if they just fixed those few small annoyances, this would be hands down a winner.

I bought before the charging case came out

I bought the product before the charging case came out, I constantly see advertisements for the series 9 with the charging case. I have asked 2 times in replies if I can purchase the charging case separately. No one responded. Maybe I’ll get a response
I had a series 7 prior to the series 9 for many years. The series 7 did not miss hairs like the series 9 does. Also, the cleaner will say it needs a new cartridge after the fluid is at ~50%. The prior cleaner used much more of the cartridge fluid before requiring a new cartridge which made cartridges last longer. I’m hoping that Gillette is not negatively impacting the customer experience to make a little bit more money on cartridges. Especially as I have been a loyal Braun user for many years. I even bought my sons Braun products.
So, can I purchase the PowerCase Separately?
Due to the high price and my general lack of satisfaction in the performance of the shaver and its cleaning stand. At this point I cannot recommend. If they improve the shaver head to not leave hairs and not pull hairs, I would recommend.

over hyped

Looked forward to buying a Braun series 9 razor. Must be the Cadillac of electric razors. Boy was I wrong. From day one this razor did not shave as well as my old Norelco. Doesn't give a close shave and beard clippings fall out on your shirt as you shave.

We recommend cleaning the foil/cutter after each shave. Doing this may help remove more hairs, especially when shaving against the grain, and help prevent hairs from falling out. Simply the best shaver out there!

Personally, this is simply the best shaver available in the market for a daily shave/trim. It does work spotlessly in the dry 'mode', in the wet one it simply takes a tiny bit longer to shave perfectly. Both the portable battery case and the cleaning stand are great albeit too bulky - it would be great to change these designs in the future versions of the shaver.
FYI - I switched from Philips Norelco given that the rotary shavers simply take too long to deliver a close shave and miss a lot of hair, especially in the corners of the face.

Cutting foil separated from razor head mount

I bought the 9310cc in late AUG 2022. It is now early DEC 2022. My shaves have been good but nothing superior. I shave in the shower and rinse the foil/cutting cassette by removing it from the shaver body and holding it under running water. I then reattach the foil/cutting cassette to the shaver and shake off excess water before returning it to the charging stand. Two days ago, I shook the razor and one cutting foil flew off the cassette into the bathtub. I could not get the cutting foil reinstalled.

Best Ever, but room to improve

This is a decided upgrade from.previous series 9 shavers in terms of close shaving.. The shaving is indeed more efficient, closer and comfortable... Yet to be determined is durability... One star off for the lack of such an elite shaver using plastic as opposed to metal

Does not give a close shave

I bought this a month ago for my husband who has been bedridden in the hospital and still is. He is on blood thinners so I thought this would be the safer alternative. He has yet to get a close shave and I have been doing all the steps, tips, cleaning, etc. Getting the neck area clear is non-existent. So sorry I spent all this money for nothing. Bought on the reviews from the internet and Consumer Reports.
