Amazing shave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Braun Series 9 Pro, with SmartCare Center I have been impressed with how this shaver delivers a close shave each and every time. This unit has terrific battery life and will hold up for the toughest shaves. The best part is the automatic cleaner to keep the your razor operating at tip top shape.

the only razor you need

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I implore any of you blade razor devotees to give this electric shaver a chance. I've been using disposable razors for as long as I've been shaving (over 25 years) and was never satisfied with anything less than a clean blade trim, so I was shocked to find out how smooth a cut I was able to get with this one. My wife couldn't tell the difference. The only slight downside is that after each shave I inevitably find a spot or two the razor can't get to, and so I had to touch up with a blade in the end. Still worth it though, given the convenience of not having to lather up.

Braun quality seems to be going down hill.

I am on my fourth Braun shaver in about 30 years. The first and cheapest, was by far the best shave and longest lasting. ( I was a Norelco man) Each subsequent razor does not do well on my LIGHT beard. Even with a new cutter, it does not cut well. I think I have a series 6. I am tempted on the Series 9 but I am not sold.

We did find that lubricating the blades using a light machine oil or the clean and charge station will help make all your sessions go smoothly, especially if you hold the shaver at a right angle. Stopped Working For No Reason

I have a Series 9 , almost 2 years old & I loved it , right up until it stopped running ( for NO REASON ) !!! Who can I get in touch with about this ??? I wont post a review for now , or at least not until I see if Braun will do something about it !!!!

Almost returned it, glad I didn’t!

I really thought about returning this after the purchase. Upon its first use I really didn’t get a clean, close shave like advertised. I figured I’d give it a couple more tries before the return time expired and came around to liking it. I used to shave after showering, but learned that I get a better cut if I shave with the Braun prior. I also learned that I get a closer, clean, shave going side to side rather than just the traditional up and down motions. It took about four or five times before I came around and started liking it.

not worth the money

Very Disappointed!

I have used Braun razors exclusively for over twenty years. This current Series 9 Pro is a couple of years old. Recently the power button broke and is not replaceable easily and economically. This is a very expensive razor for such poor quality. I am hesitant to replace it with another Braun!
