Excellent razor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only ever used Braun electric shavers, and this one is baby far my new favorite. The PowerCase is a game changer. I frequently go on lots of short trips, and my wife always convinces me to let her use my razor to shave her legs so we only have to bring one razor. This always leads me to also need to pack the cord, but occasionally forgetting - leaving her with a dead razor and no way to shave. This case makes it so easy to keep it charged without having to remember to bring a cord. The Razor itself does an excellent job - exactly what I would expect from a bran series 9.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This razor is amazing. Fast charging and it also holds a charge for a very long time. The added power case is perfect for taking on trips and it also provides a long lasting charge. The razor itself is incredible well made. Very sturdy. The blades give me a nice, close, clean shave and leave my skin feeling soft and smooth. The cleaning station makes cleaning the razor an absolute breeze and it works quickly and extremely well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this cordless shaver.it gives me a very smooth shave without all the pulling on my beard hairs. Charge station is not too big and charge last a long time. No more razor burn for me. This is now my go to daily shaver.

I have always used a razor and shaving cream but finally decided to try electric and it so much more convenient. To be honest, i don't feel like I get quite as close as a shave as with the manual razor but the convenience factor makes up for it.

Not only does it provide a very close shave, leaving my skin super smooth, it also comes with a charging travel case and a cleaning case to keep it working well for years to come. It has all the bells and whistles and I love that it has a space for the small cleaning brush. Very nice shaver and I expect that it will provide a superior shave for many years to come!

1. It is the most recent, top tier wet/dry foil shaver made by Braun.
2. It is an effective, ergonomic, well designed electric foil shaver, equivalent or better in comfort and performance to Braun's previous two iterations of the Series 9 lineup in their electric shaver models - which are excellent.
3. It is identical in size, shape and weight to previous Series 9 models, and shaver heads are interchangeable.
4. It has a slightly different display, and slightly different exterior cosmetics, than previous Series 9 models.
5. It has a slightly longer battery life (60 minutes vs 50 minutes) and a slightly faster internal processor (32-bit vs 8-bit) than previous Series 9 models. Other technical specifications are identical.
6. It has a slightly different cleaning station than previous Series 9 models, with a different part number. Although the stations look identical on the outside (and use the same Clean & Renew cartridges), older Series 9 shavers will not initiate a cleaning cycle in the new station, but will charge, and the cleaning status display is also slightly different.

What this shaver is not:

I have used many brands of electric razor over years. It is quieter by a significant margin, and it cuts better and doesn't irritate my skin. Cleaning is a snap using the Braun cleaning system (you can't use the older one as the razor fits differently in this one, I travel for work, so portability is important and I easily get multiple weeks of daily shaves from the battery without hardly moving the battery indicator. It packs a bit longer than the regular other razors. From a shave perspective, for my beard I, will say that it takes some work to get a very close shave with a 1 day beard, but a 2 day beard is a snap. I think the slightly longer hair is lifted better by the new head design.
I sometimes find myself flipping the razor over to get some parts of the upper neck under my jaw. I really haven't settled into the best combination for my face yet, which seems strange after 2 months...
So... despite the lack of ergonomics, the end result is a very good shave, especially with a 2 day beard.
Although this razor is supposed to be usable in the shower, I haven't tried it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had a lot of electric razors over the years and this one has the most shaving options by far. A lot of different ones have 2 options but this has 5 heads and they can be loose or locked. It cleans itself after each shave which is great. Having a sanitized shaver before every shave is fantastic. If I had a complaint it would be that it tugs on my 3+ day growth before cutting it. If I use it every day there isn't any discomfort. Definitely a great shaving device.
